🐄 Dairy Farm Worker – Edenderry , County Offaly

J&A Farm Recruitment LTD is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Dairy Farm Worker for a progressive dairy farm based in Edenderry County Offaly.

📍 Position Details

• Location: Edenderry , County Offaly

• Start Date: End of January / Early February

• Salary: DOE

• Herd Size: 900 x cows

• Parlour: 80 Point Waikato Rotary Parlour

• Work Schedule: 12 days on / 2 days off during spring period Flexible then throughout the Year.

• Accommodation: can be provided

🔹 Role Responsibilities

• Milking and general herd management

• Feeding, bedding, and calf rearing duties, Assist with Calving.

• Cleaning and maintaining milking parlour and housing areas

• Machinery and yard work as required

• Monitoring animal health and reporting issues promptly

👨‍🌾 Role Requirements

• Previous experience in dairy or livestock farming essential

• Good knowledge of milking systems and animal welfare

• Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated

• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

• Own transport essential (no accommodation provided)

• Must have legal right to work in Ireland – Non-EU candidates will not be considered
